Quantum Technologies

MBDM is focused on Quantum Technologies. These are emerging technologies that are radically changing how the world transacts and competes in the future "now". Quantum technologies, for example, offer several order of magnitude changes to execution times, supply chain cycle times and blockchains, data security, cyber security, robotics, digital platforms, IoT, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence.

These emerging technologies, in the right hands make our lives significantly much better, but in the wrong hands can make us far less competitive and far less able to protect ourselves from attacks of any kind. We believe these emerging technologies will soon become the technologies of the present. That though they will provide positive advancement in numerous disciplines, they will also carry inherent security risks and impacts that are not fully understood by most decision-makers.

We therefore believe there needs to be collaborative action ahead of these quantum technologies so we can all better appreciate how we need to build new security foundations, that will offer leapfrog changes in our ability to secure our emerging technology infrastructures.
