MODELING
Systems Engineering, Risk Modeling, and Response Modeling have Global Implications today...
Risk is pervasive! Its everywhere! In fact, just walking down the stairs on any given day presents some measure of risk.
Our Risk Modeling Approaches have been designed to isolate, mitigate, and manage those elements of risk that have either proven to be high impact high probability risk factors, or have a high probability of becoming high risk factors.
Our Advanced Simulation Modeling Practice has been focused on Defense Risks in Weapon and Defense System Configurations, Cyber-based Telecommunications Risks and Logistical Supply Chain and Product Manufacturing Risks. These are complex real-world systems, containing many different components which interact in complex interrelationships. The analysis of such systems can become extremely difficult and the most used modeling techniques tend to analyze each component rather than the relationships between components. We have made this one of our core competencies.
Systems Engineering
Systems Engineering is just one of the interdisciplinary approaches which we use to drive and enable the realization of successful systems.
Here we focus on defining customer needs and required functionality early in the development cycle, documenting requirements, then proceeding with design synthesis and system validation while considering the complete problem including operations, performance, testing, manufacturing, costs, and schedules.
This discipline emphasizes the links of systems engineering to fundamentals of decision theory, statistics, and optimization. It also introduces the most current, commercially successful techniques for systems engineering that we use.

Our Risk Management and Maturity Index (RMMI)
The RMMI is a measurement and control tool. Like any index, the intent of the RMMI is to capture the trajectory of primary risks (or all risks if you prefer) so you can monitor, manage and if necessary change behavior toward a particular risk type.
The RMMI gives you an early warning on how risks are evolving in say your portfolio or asset base.
We don't regard this as rocket science, but simply a painstaking attention to how and where you do business with a qualified assessment of what risks permeate that space.

Discrete Event Simulation Modeling of Risk Factors across Complex Systems
This is just one risk analytics approach that we take. Here we assess, using Discrete Event Simulation Models (DESM), the liklihood of a particular risk type occurring relative to all other critical risks in your business space, and derive "steady state" probabilities that help you gage the extent to which you should make preparations for those risks.

Response
This approach provides you with the kind of hedges against, and insight into, the risks that permeate your decision space. As a consequence, it not only lowers your cost of doing business but it provides ample time for you to change the decision endgame so you don't lose.
We don't say prepare for everything, instead we demonstrate how you can mitigate risks within your control and at the same time, make adequate allowances for risks outside of your control based on their type and position in the RMMI.
